Aria's POV

Three days after Victor's death Camila is still here. I thought she'd leave once the alliance talks clearly went nowhere but she keeps finding excuses to stay.

Rosa needs help with the wounded. She wants to learn about Shadow Peak's herb supplies. She's interested in our training methods.

It's all bullshit and everyone knows it.

I'm in the library when Beth finds me. She looks excited in a way that makes me nervous.

"I found something," she says.

"About Camila?"

"Yes. She's been sending messages back to the Eastern Pack. I intercepted one."

She hands me a folded paper. I open it and read.
