Aria's POV

We get back to Shadow Peak and immediately start planning how to deal with Victor. Drogo calls a meeting with Marcus, Cole, Derek, and surprisingly Beth.

"Why is she here?" Marcus asks.

"Because she knows Victor," Drogo says. "They grew up in the same pack."

Beth nods. "Victor is ambitious. Always has been. He's been waiting for years to challenge Father but he needed support first."

"What kind of support does he have now?" Cole asks.

"About forty warriors. Maybe more. They're mostly younger guys who think Father is too old and too cautious."

"Are they right?" I ask.

"About him being cautious? Yeah. But that's...
