Nadia’s POV: 

 

Light, power, and pain crashed into me at once.

The sensation was blinding. For a long second, I had no idea what was happening. I only knew that something inside me was breaking open.

The battlefield faded as I surrendered to the inferno.

Then, just as quickly as it hit, the agony vanished. In its place came a razor-sharp clarity. I could track every heartbeat, catch every scent, and feel every movement on the battlefield.

I looked down and let out a huff of amusement. I wasn't a dud anymore. My new body was massive. Silver fur shimmered around me, glowing like a piece of the moon.
