While the confrontation was going on between the three ladies Carter’s men who had been sent to spy on Rionna saw all that had happened and went to report the whole scene to Carter, this made Carter more interested in Rionna. He sat in his chair looking into the distance as these thoughts passed through his mind.

"Hum, this is becoming more interesting," He says to Phil who was happy to hear that their mate is strong.

"We need to find out about her, I can't wait to have my mark on her," Phil says excitedly.

"Stupid prick that is the only thing you think of, we also need to be very careful about her, you know our mission and we must not let our guard down," Carter warns his wolf.

While Carter was still busy chatting with his wolf Rionna was led into his office by one of his men. Meanwhile, Carter was wearing a mask when Rionna met with him in his office.

"Carter, please, I need your help, I am told you are the only one who could help me," Rionna went straight to the point and ask for help.

"What do you need me to help you with," Carter who pretends to be Morris asked her.

"I was informed that you are the only one who has access to the human world and I want you to help me get something from that world," She asked him for help.

Carter stares at her for some time while he wonders what she could possibly want from that world.

No one has ever asked for such help from him, what could this tiny woman be up to, could it be that she is looking for something that she would use to harm him? He felt he has to be more alert and watchful of her. She suddenly seems to have gotten wise all of a sudden.

"Please, I need your help to find a material called Malva Sylvestris," She informed him and hope he could be of help to her. Rionna couldn’t smell Carter’s scent because Carter made sure he kept a safe distance from her and all Rionna could only see was his profile.

"Malva sylvestris?" Carter raised his eyebrow questioning. He had never heard of it before and was curious to know what it is used for, "Why do you need this,"

"I need to treat myself," She simply responded.

"Hum, well how much are you willing to pay for this Malva sylvestris," Carter asked casually, his rogues were widespread across the world so he agreed to help her.

Rionna knew she had no money to offer him in exchange and thinking about it Rionna thought about the child who suffered heatstroke and an idea came to her mind, she was never a person that gives up easily, since this Morris guy can help her get the drugs she needs she would do anything to get it.

Since she doesn't think she would be able to come up with the money that the Rogue leader would ask from her, so she came up with a plan, "I promised to work for the pack and help eliminate the disease spreading in this pack, I will produce some drinks that can alleviate heatstroke. The people would be safe and it's going to be a fifty-fifty for both of us,"

Thinking about this, Rogue Morris was very interested in the offer she made and agreed to cooperate with her. "I agree to your proposal and hope you won't go back on your words."

"That is great to hear until we meet again," She said and left immediately, she was happy that she would be able to treat herself.

When Rionna left Morris asked his men to spy on her and find out how she was going to produce the drinks, she promised to help cure the disease that was spreading in the pack.

Before going home Rionna brought some ingredients and fruits that she would be needing to prepare the drink require for the treatment of heatstroke and stayed in her room for a whole week preparing the drink.

When she finished preparing the drink, she went to meet Rogue Morris again and gave him the product she has prepared.

"Here are the drink I promised and I hope you won't go back on your words," She said to Morris as her maid help her to carry the drinks into the house of the house of the rogue.

"I see you are a woman of your word but are you sure this will help cure this disease," Morris asked curiously.

"I am very sure, and it's not harmful anyone can drink it. You can have a taste too," She says as she extends one bottle of the drink to Rogue Morris.

"Why don't you have a taste first," Morris asked her to have a taste of it first because he was afraid that she might poison him.

"No wonder you are the leader of this group, you have trust issues, well I will drink it to convince you it is safe," Rionna said as she drank it and then handed it to Morris who tried it.

He was satisfied after taking a sip of the drink she prepared because truly the drink was very refreshing and he wondered why she knew so many things others didn’t know all of a sudden.

He couldn’t help and ask, "Who are you, I never bothered to ask you the last time you were here."

"I am Rionna the Beta’s daughter, and currently I am mated to Carter," Rionna responded not suspecting that she was speaking with Carter himself.

Morris deliberately decided to tease her, "I wonder why you chose that cripple called Carter as your mate, someone that every she-wolf doesn't want because of his..."

"What are you trying to say?" She interrupted him as she doesn't like where the conversation was leading.

"You are a she-wolf with great ability, why would you mate with someone that is not capable, are you sure he would be able to satisfy your lust? I am sure he would be disabled in that area too." Morris insinuates that Carter will not be able to satisfy Rionna in bed.

Rionina was angry and expressed her displeasure at his words.

"I would appreciate it if you don't insult my mate, to me he is a good man and he treats and care for me very well. He respects me and does not pry into her privacy, and I would not stand here and listen to you speaks nonsense about my mate. That is my private life and it doesn't have anything to do with what I came here to do. Let's keep our conversation purely business."

She couldn’t stand others criticizing her mate, to her Carter was perfect for her and no one has a right to criticize her relationship with him.

Morris was surprised when he found out Rionna truly cares about him, "Could it be that this little woman cares about me, or is she only pretending because she discovered who I was?"

"I am also short of words, I can't believe she just defended you, we need to find out what her feelings are for us," Phil was also amused that Rionna was angry when Morris teased Carter.
