Rionna stared at her maid coldly as she scolded her which made the maid scared because the previous Rionna was always being bullied by all. The maid wondered why the previous stupid Rionna suddenly became serious and intimidating and not the foolish one she was used to speaking the way she felt like speaking to her. Rionna finally managed to stop Carter and apologized to him again.

"Please, can we start all over again?" Rionna asked.

"There is no need, I hate to be a second choice for you but, I advise you to continue to pursue Wesley William," Carter said in a cold tone.

“You’re my mate, you encouraged me to woo others? Isn't that insane?” Rionna was both surprised and upset.

“Since you felt nothing for me and you were never interested in me. I wonder why you haven’t drowned in the river, you think I am a cripple, but look at yourself, you’re one weak freak who would not survive this world without me.”

Just then Rionna looked at Carter’s legs that were crippled and her look at them like a doctor was going to examine it in the hospital. Carter held a step back when Rionna approached him.

"I can see that the muscle of your legs is still in good condition, I wondered why you can’t walk with them, let me take a look at it maybe I can help you make it function well," As Rionna move closer to take a closer look.

Carter found out the scent coming from her body seemed different from the Rionna that he was used to, this smell was different and intoxicating and, it makes him want to stay glued to her.

‘Oh, her scent is driving me crazy, Carter. it's like she became a different person after she drown, I need to find out more about her, something must have happened to her that change her scent.’ Carter’s wolf Phil roared excitedly. He could sense the difference in her aura

‘Yes, she was even acting differently, I wonder what she knows about medicine that made her want to examine my leg." Carter replied to Phil.

He moved away from her to prevent her from touching him, "When did you suddenly become a doctor that you can heal my legs that has been like that for years, stay the hell away from me," he shouted at her.

"Hey, I just want to be nice to you. Why don't you let me take a look, you never can tell, I can find a solution to your legs," Carter refuses because he doesn't understand why Rionna is trying to show off to him, maybe she is trying to use that to get him to accept her back.

Observing the changes in her, Carter wanted to ask her some questions out of curiosity but before he could question her, his servant, Felix came in to give him some information.

"My lord something bad just happened outside now," Felix informed.

"What happened that got you worried," Cater asked.

"A child just fainted ahead of the road," He said.

Rionna was shocked to hear this and wanted to know if the child was already taken care of. "What do you mean a child fainted? Where is her mother? What have you been able to do to help the child?" she threw a series of questions at Felix.

"You seem to have confused me and I don't know what I should to do help him so I came to report the news,” Felix asked.

"Where is the child, take me to the child," Rionna said again.

"How is that your concern, you are not a physician, so what are you going to do when you see the child," Carter mocked her, and wonder why she was acting as if she was a doctor.

After Rionna heard the news and asked to be taken to see the child, she immediately staggered to the end of the road, not listening to what Carter was saying to her. Her instinct as a doctor from her previous life sets in.

He farrow his eyes as he watched her rush out wondering what she was going to do, so he followed her to the road, and to his surprise, he found Rionina checking the child’s condition professionally.

He was flabbergasted and curious, and wonder when Rionna started caring about others that were not Wesley. The world must be changing, Rionna caring for someone else? Hum, he must find out what happened to her.

Rionna was soon able to diagnose the child's ailment as a heatstroke, (Heat stroke is the most serious heat-related illness) she took some measures which made the child awake and cured. This ailment has killed many kids and they were yet to find a cure, and just checking the child, Rionna was able to cure the ailment without using any medicine, something must have happened that changed some things in her.

This made Carter more interested in find out what happened to her when she drown herself. Has the moon goddess discovered she lack something and decided to gift it to her? This was the thought in his mind as he watch her treat the child.

‘I am convinced now that this Rionna before me is another she-wolf, and not that foolish she-wolf who wanted to kill herself because of her sister’s mate.’ Carter said to his wolf.

‘I couldn’t agree more,’ Phil replied.

Everyone around were also surprise that Rionna was able to cure the child, and the mother of the child came to thank her and Rionna advise the mother what she should do to prevent the child to experience the ailment again.

Unknown to Rionna she has exposed her identity. The news of what she did spread around the pack and some members believed she was reborn.
