Ninety days locked in prison. Ninety days without seeing Victoria or his children. He hadn't seen sunlight again, only the gray, icy walls of that penitentiary. But it was only five years, nothing more. And Jordano, his loyal henchman, had received a three-year sentence for complicity.
"We got off cheap, boss," Jordano said, lighting a cigarette and bringing it to his lips.
"Since when do you smoke?" Salvatore asked, wrinkling his nose at the smell.
"Since I became a prisoner. I don't like it here," Jordano replied with a grimace. "I've always been a free man."
Salvatore let out a slight cough and observed him in silence....
