Finally, dawn arrived! The night had been long for Victoria and Salvatore. They had slept back-to-back, distrustful of each other, yet yearning for their touch.

Salvatore was the first to get up and headed to the bathroom. Victoria, waking abruptly, glanced up and saw Salvatore’s sculpted, sexy figure disappear from sight. She swallowed hard, put on a robe, and hurried to where her little ones were.
