Years Later
It was Friday morning, and the smell of hot coffee combined with the shining sun made Victoria’s new home look perfect. She served a couple of plates full of pancakes and fruit and, sighing, began her day. She felt so happy.
"Kids, please! I’m running late for work, and I might get fired. Come have breakfast!"
