Reggins, obeying the orders of his friend and boss, injected fluids to rehydrate Victoria, followed by glucose and some medications to stabilize her condition.

"She’s going to be alright, Salvatore. We managed to act in time," said Reggins, settling into a chair beside the main bed.

"And now?"

"Wait for her to wake up," the doctor exhaled, resting his head with a sigh of exhaustion.

Salvatore began pacing nervously around the room, watching Victoria’s every movement. However, in the following hours, she remained motionless. Finally, he sat down on the floor beside the bed and, exhausted, rested his head on the mattress, falling asleep.
