Days later, Salvatore inhaled deeply as he crossed the mansion's threshold and headed directly to his favorite armchair. He couldn't even remember how many days he had been away from home.
"Finally, home. I was sick of that hospital; now I can personally take care of my business," he muttered, rolling his neck to relieve the tension.
Jordano cleared his throat before speaking. "Sir, you have strict orders to take care of yourself until your recovery is complete. That was the condition for your discharge."
