Victoria ran quickly after Christian until they reached the ballroom. She opened her eyes wide in terror; Salvatore was already searching for her, and notably, his men were spreading out to find her.

"Christian, you have to leave!" she exclaimed, grabbing Christian’s hand and turning him in another direction just as two of Salvatore’s men approached them.

He held her hand and led her toward the dressing rooms.

"I don’t want to leave without you, Victoria. I need you."

She, nervous, turned back and could hear the quick footsteps of Salvatore’s men searching for her.
