ADRIAN'S FATHER BECOMES RESTLESS OVER SON'S SUSPICIONS

Mr. Smith stood speechless, his eyes fixed on Adrian as he watched son ascend the stairs to his room. He had almost forgotten the glass of wine resting on the side table.

“Maybe someone is trying to use the existing rift between us to achieve his own aim.” Adrian's words kept echoing in his heart.

“Is he beginning to suspect me?” Chaotic thoughts raced through the old man's mind. He sank into the couch and poured himself another glass.
