The Frostfang Mountains were unforgiving.
I had been climbing for three days. The snow was deep, the wind biting. My fingers were numb, my legs heavy with exhaustion. But I could not stop.
The relic was calling to me.
I felt it in my chest—a warmth that pulsed with every heartbeat. It was faint at first, barely noticeable. But as I climbed higher, it grew stronger.
Come, the relic seemed to whisper. I am waiting.
