Selene's POV

I traveled for three more days before reaching the Bloodclaw Pack's territory.

The forest was dense and dark, with twisted trees blocking most of the sunlight. The wolves who lived there were fierce and proud, their red-brown fur making them easy to recognize.

They watched me carefully as I approached the village.

Two guards stepped in front of me.

"Who are you, and why have you come?" one asked.

"I am Selene. I have come to speak with your Alpha."
