Hearing my response, a surprised look appeared on Alpha Minister Jacob's face. I couldn't hold that surprise on his face against him. After all, it was very unlikely of me for taking a stand for my kingdom and my people. "I can understand that reaction. It is not like I have ever taken any actions to protect what my father left inside my hands." I whispered in a low tone. I kept my head narrowed as I was guilty for making my people suffer like that.
