I stood in silence while waiting for someone to utter something but it was like a cat had got their tongue. It seemed like they were still trying to process what I had just told them.

"You can't meet with Zack, Rosa, why will you in the first place? What are you even thinking?” Marc questioned angrily, causing me to flinch at how high his voice was.

"Marc, stop it," Jack warned him. I stood there, my gaze moving between Marc and Jack. They seemed to be mind-linking even when I warned them against it several times.
