A beautiful full moon night became tense when a young man stood on the balcony railing of his room on the sixth floor and seemed to want to end his life.
“Evans! Come down, please! Everything can be solved!" shouted Jeanice spontaneously.
As if he didn't listen to Jeanice's warning, the strange man was still on the fence and didn't move. Evans just took a breath and exhaled like a depressed man who had deep emotional wounds.
“Stop it, Evans! Don't jump!” shouted Jeanice again.
The man was still silent, as if he didn't hear anything Jeanice shouted.
“Oh my God. That's bad!”
Jeanice immediately intervened, in the name of humanity and on behalf of psychologists around the world, Jeanice was determined to jump from her bedroom balcony to Evans' bedroom balcony, which was quite close.
The young girl succeeded, she finally reached the balcony and, without further ado, Jeanice immediately pulled Evans back down. The man stumbled backward and fell on Jeanice.
Bruak!
“Oh, my head!” Jeanice looked in pain.
Evans opened his eyes, a little surprised. He didn't seem to expect that he was now lying on the floor right on top of Jeanice.
"What are you doing?" Evans asked with a confused face.
“Why are you asking me? How about you? What are you doing? You are still very young. Don't do anything stupid and commit suicide. Be aware, all problems can be solved," Jeanice answered at length.
Still astonished, Evans immediately sat down and observed the strange neighbor girl.
"Gosh! Apart from being noisy, you also like to meddle in other people's affairs!" Evans protested.
"I don't want to interfere, I know everyone has their privacy and problems. But, are you crazy? You were standing on the verge of death! You are a young man, you shouldn't end your life to solve your problems!” Jeanice scolded.
“Ending life? Nonsense! I don't!" Evans denied.
“Never mind, Evans! I get it, I'm a psychologist! "Sometimes life will indeed feel cruel or unfair, but you can discuss everything with me," answered Jeanice, as if she knew everything.
"I got it, apart from being strange, you are also crazy!" Evans answered.
"It's up to you what you think of me. I just want to help you. I'm Jeanice, I'm a psychology student. No problem cannot be overcome in this world. You can tell stories and share all your burdens with me. "Even though I can't necessarily help you solve your problem, at least by telling me, you will feel much better," said Jeanice with the friendliest smile possible.
Evans immediately stood up, his face looked annoyed and disgusted. The young man looked up at the sky but the big full moon he seemed to be waiting for was already covered by clouds.
“Damn, time is up!” Evans grumbled, still looking at the sky.
"Time? "You still have a long time, long journey young man, fill your life with activities and hanging out with lots of friends, and you will feel that everything is more meaningful," said Jeanice.
"Good grief! You piss me off! You don't even understand but preach a lot, as if you know everything! Go back to your room! Whatever I do is none of your business! You freaky woman!” Evans snapped.
“Is that so? Are you sure you can handle yourself?" Jeanice asked again.
"Go! One more thing, never interfere in my business, or you will regret it!" Evans threatened.
Jeanice finally stood up, she straightened her pajamas then patted the man's shoulder confidently.
“Yeah, I won't bother you. As long as you promise not to try to hurt yourself. Believe me, there are many things you can do if you survive. Keep your spirits up, cheer up! Fighting!" said Jeanice, smiling as if she were an angel.
Evans looked at Jeanice with a crooked smile, he seemed upset with the girl and wiped his shoulder that had just been touched by Jeanice's hand.
“I'll count to three. If you don't go back to your room, I'll call the building manager and say that a perverted woman is sneaking into the men's room at night!” Evans threatened.
“Calm down, alright I'll be back! But, can you hold my hand, it seems the sixth floor is quite high. "This is terrible," answered Jeanice, looking at the bottom of the balcony she had just jumped from.
“You idiot, just go through the front door! I will allow you to pass through my room, and please leave immediately!” Evans replied.
"I can't, my room is locked from the inside!" Jeanice answered with a sad face.
“So, you can jump here, but you can't come back? How ridiculous!” Evans taunted.
“Hey, in a pinch I can do anything. But not now! This is so high!” complained Jeanice, when she looked down, her legs immediately went weak.
"Okay, come on, wait outside! "I'll call the building manager to bring me a spare key," answered Evans.
"Don't! What will the building management think if they find out I'm locked out? That's so stupid! They'll think I'm a freaky girl."
“That's who you are! Freaky girl! Have you just realized that? Good grief!" Evans emphasized.
"Quickly, hold me, let me jump to the balcony of my room," said Jeanice, who without hesitation grabbed Evans' hand and held on.
“Are you sure? Do you want to commit suicide?” Evans asked.
“Come on Evans, come here and quickly hold me! I'm here for you after all!” Jeanice answered immediately without hesitation, pulling Evans' arm towards the balcony railing to hold it.
Strangely, Evans complied. He looked at Jeanice and once again observed the girl while sniffing.
"Don't let me go! Hold me tight!” Jeanice asked.
Evans immediately sighed, it seemed like he had no other choice but to help Jeanice reach the balcony railing of her room.
"I almost succeeded! "Just a little more," said Jeanice.
"Watch your steps, put your right foot in a higher position," said Evans.
"Here?"
"Yes, there,"
With a little help from Evans, Jeanice finally managed to reach the balcony railing. And even though her legs were a little shaky, she arrived safely.
“Thank's God. I can do it!”
"Gosh! Don't bother me anymore, don't show your face in front of me again! You troublesome girl!” cursed Evans, who immediately walked in and closed the balcony door without further ado.
"Thank you, Evans!" said Jeanice, waving her hand.
From behind the window, Evans glanced at Jeanice, but he just snorted with a sarcastic face and immediately closed the window curtains so that Jeanice couldn't see where he was.
“What a strange girl, but she smells good,” Evans muttered.
On the other hand, Jeanice looked happy, she felt like she had just saved someone's life and was grateful that Evans Gelens, one of her seniors on campus, had not done anything stupid.
The next day, Jeanice had morning lectures. She hurriedly got up and, still biting her bread, she locked the bedroom door and quickly left. But once again, the 6th floor was still quiet, it seemed only her room and Evans' room were occupied.
There was no sound in the hallway, only the loud ticking of the wall clock. The sound of Jeanice's footsteps even echoed there.
"Hope that guy is okay!" Jeanice muttered.
She wanted to check on Evans' condition but in ten minutes the class she was attending started. In a hurry, Jeanice finally chose to just go through Evans' bedroom door and leave.
It was a sunny day, new students seemed enthusiastic about coming to their respective faculties and studying. The lecturer in Jeanice's class hadn't started yet, but several unknown girls were seen sitting in a group.
"Can I sit here?" asked Jeanice, who seemed to want to join in.
"Yes, please, this seat is available," answered one of the girls.
“I'm Jeanice. I've never seen you guys before?” asked Jeanice.
"We are not from this department."
"What do you mean?"
They spontaneously smiled, giggled a little, and then whispered.
"We are from another department," she answered.
"Oh really? Why did you sneak in here?” asked Jeanice.
"For Peter,"
“Peter? Who's he?"
"You don't know?" Of course your lecturer!” answered one of the girls.
"But why?"
"Because he's perfect," said another girl.
"Pardon?"
"You'll see," answered the girl, looking enthusiastic.
"Hey, shut up, he's coming!" said Nathalia, when a handsome man entered the room.
Jeanice gaped, it was true. The three new friends said the lecturer in her class this time was good-looking. The man named Peter is still very young, tall, and sturdy with a broad chest that makes him very worthy of being a model.
Jeanice started to look at him, his skin tanned, his jaw and nose line defined. Brown eyes and thin lips. Peter does wear glasses like other smart men, but his hair is styled in a man's bun and dyed reddish, making him very stylish.
“He's hot!” said Cassandra, suddenly smiling when Peter looked at his student bench.
What the three girls said was true. Peter didn't even check his students' attendance. He just taught without further ado.
“Her voice is so sexy!” said Eva when she heard Peter teaching.
Jeanice grinned, she couldn't believe that there were foreign girls who deliberately took part in lectures in other departments just to see the lecturers from up close. For them, the content of Peter's lectures would be just a passing thought, but for Jeanice, this man taught psychology very well.
Jeanice noted down everything she felt was important, paid close attention, and began asking questions seriously. Not only Jeanice, but her friend Ronan, the man who likes to dress up strangely, also asks a lot of questions. He even sat in the front bench area.
"It turns out he's also taking this class," muttered Jeanice.
After the lecture was over, the girls immediately left. But a man dressed strangely came over to her.
“Hi, Jeanice. So you're taking Peter's class too!” said Ronan.
"Yes, that is so."
"Just a moment, please hold this," asked Peter, who immediately took off his wig and strangely big weird glasses.
Once again, in front of Jeanice, Peter started to make over his appearance.
“You even wore a ridiculous wig to college, my god! Haha,” Jeanice started laughing out loud.
"You laugh so much, Miss! Do you like laughing at weirdos?”
"I wouldn't laugh at freak people, but all you are doing is ridiculous," answered Jeanice, and continued to laugh when she saw all the strange attributes on Ronan's clothes being removed.
"Yes, just laugh as much as you like. I'm just curious about Peter."
"Peter? Why?"
“His facial expression was very flat, he didn't even laugh at my outfit.
"I'm sure he's not a normal human being," answered Ronan.
“So you consider yourself normal? "He's just a handsome lecturer who is a student idol, so never mind, stop your silly behavior," Jeanice suggested.
“Yeah okay, I'm just a little tired of being a handsome guy. What if girls start chasing me?” replied Ronan, holding back laughter.
"I guess it's better than your college days being labeled as a freak."
“Is that so?”
"Yup,"
“Okay, I'll act normal. Am I handsome yet?"
"Yes, perfect,"
"Good, let's go to the library!"
"With me?"
"Yeah, aren't we already quite familiar?"
"I don't think so," answered Jeanice.
"But book discount vouchers are being handed out today. Are you sure you're not interested?" asked Ronan.
"Really, wow! Let's go there," answered Jeanice, who was even enthusiastic.
The two of them left the classroom and chatted casually. The handsome Ronan attracted the attention of the girls along the corridor. That makes sense, some students are not very familiar with Ronan because of his strange dressing style. But with a normal outfit, the girls looked stunned by him.
"I think the girls are starting to target you,"
“That's natural, I'm handsome. No matter how clever I am at disguising my visuals, one day I will be discovered."
“Gosh, what a sense of confidence.”
“Never mind, at least now I'm with you! I can pretend I have a girlfriend so they won't dare come near!” Ronan answered casually.
"What do you mean? You want to do another drama, huh?”
“I'm just kidding Jeanice, but you're so friendly and fun. "I think you're my type," said Ronan with a teasing face.
