Jennifer’s Pov(Few Nights Ago)

"Jennifer! Wake up!"

Emily's voice exploded in my ears before I felt a pillow smack against my face.

I groaned and pulled the blanket over my head. "Five more minutes," I mumbled, my words barely understandable.

"No, you don't have five more minutes." The blanket was yanked away before I could grab it. "Get up! We're already late."

I squinted against the light pouring through the window. "Late for what?" I asked, rubbing my throbbing temple.

Emily stared at me as though I'd completely lost my mind.

"For the Peace Ceremony, obviously! Don't tell me you've forgotten."

The words chased away the last traces of sleep....
