Annabel's POV

I was surprised to hear Scott say that. It felt like a dream but after blinking multiple times, I knew it wasn't.

"I don't believe you," I said, shaking my head.

"Annabel please," he came close, holding my arm, "Just come with me and I promise I'll make you believe me."

I remained hesitant, thinking of the many possibilities that could occur. What if this was just a trap to lure me to Mr. Davis? What if Scott is just pretending? Is it really wise for me to forget how Scott ditched me at the court and follow him now?
