I paused.

I did not expect her to question me but then again, Samantha spent most of her years with Scott and none with me.

She would definitely find it difficult to adjust without Scott.

My lips parted to explain when Myron poked his head through the door and stepped in fully.

"I'll be your new Daddy, Samantha."

Sam turned towards the voice. Her eyes scrutinized Myron from head to toe. She shook her head.
