Michelle's POV

I sat on the kitchen table while Justicia prepared breakfast for me.

She was bubbly and happy, explaining how my sister appeared worried over me.

“I think she's forgiven you already, ma’am.” She said, “She looked as if she'd jump on you the second she found you.”

She tossed the scrambled egg on the pan with a smile on her face as she spoke of how glad she is that my relationship with my sister was finally repairing itself.

“Do you think she realized that she needed you?” She asked.

I sighed and said, “I think my divorcing Scott softened her heart towards me.”
