Just then Nessa opened the door with sleepy eyes and an angry face, and that was the last thing I saw, before I fell into her arms.

My weight on her and my bizarre look shocked her out of her sleep. She immediately shouted for the guards.

Exhaustion caused me to fall on the steps of the door, however I still held Michelle tightly in my arms.

The guards took her from my arms. I had to let go even though I didn't want to. When I realized I was taken into the house, I let my guard down.
