The accusation hung in the air like a physical blow. Addison's pointed finger and harsh words seemed to echo off the walls of the pack house, aimed directly at me, as I stood frozen, my face was pale now.
Eric's gaze, however, was fixed on me. He saw the flicker of hurt in my beautiful eyes, the way my shoulders tightened as if bracing for another impact.
