The first light of dawn was just beginning to creep through the curtains when I found myself outside Casey's door.
I'd barely slept my mind too full of plans and possibilities and the memory of her kids but exhaustion didn't matter now. What mattered was moving, acting and saving them all.
I knocked softly, not wanting to wake anyone else in the pack house. The door opened almost immediately, as if she'd been waiting right on the other side. And maybe she had.
