DEREK'S POV

I woke up to excruciating pain shooting through my entire body, and I groaned loudly.

Every single part of my body hurt so badly. My head, my chest, and my stomach, and it was really uncomfortable. My stomach felt like someone was stabbing me from the inside, and that was a bit strange to me.

I tried to sit up, but my body wouldn't cooperate. My arms felt like they weighed a thousand pounds, making it rather impossible for me to sit up on the bed.
