CASEY'S POV

"This is good," I said, out loud. "I need to keep building my strength so we can go out there to find my children," I added.

"I know, we need to find your kids, but you need to take things slow, one step at a time," Eric advised.

I turned to look at him, really look at him, and for the first time I noticed how exhausted he looked.

"When was the last time you slept properly?" I asked, feeling bad for all the stress I had caused him.
