CASEY'S POV

I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing was coming out. I didn't want to upset her any further, because she has so much control over Derek, so offending her will only make matter worse for me, and I don't want that.

“Addison, I know what Casey did that night wasn't good, but you have to understand that she did it out of love for her children, any mother in her shoes will do the same,” Eric spoke in my defense.
