TWO DAYS LATER…

I just stood and watched as the soldiers picked their weapons one after the other and hand laid on my shoulder. I turned to look and it was Alpha. Our eyes met and he smiled at me before he wiggled his eyebrows and I couldn’t hold back my laughter at how silly he looked. I couldn’t figure it out, how could he be so calm and relaxed when we were about to do something that would determine if we were going to live or not?
