Midnight came, and everyone left for their homes so it was just me, Raymond, Lily, and the guards that were left behind in the courtyard. Alpha was gone from the rooftop too and I felt kind of empty due to his absence no matter how I tried to control how I felt. I guessed I was going to keep on being this way as long as he was my mate because the bond alone was enough to make us feel things for each other.
