Alpha just stared at me as I smiled at him and I could tell that he was wondering what exactly was this plan of mine that I wanted to tell him about.

“You were almost hurt, Selena, but you want to talk about the plan instead? I’m more worried about your wellbeing than the plan and I want to be sure that you are completely okay before anything else. You are more important” he scolded me with wide eyes and I just stared at him speechlessly as he ranted at me and when he was done, I chuckled.
