The first thing that I noticed when I opened my eyes were the beeping sounds above my head. I squinted once the bright lights came into view, then I saw the red lights and the patterns on the monitor. My head was pounding and every single sinew of muscle in my body felt like they were being strung out of my body. But the effects didn't last for long.
