His lips were firm and demanding at first, and for a second, I didn't know what to say. I was stunned. But that's the moment something inside me snapped, and every atom of hatred that had been brewing inside me turned to dust. I kissed him back, just as fiercely, wrapping my hands around his neck even harder.
