"Someone got through the boundary last night, or rather, some people." 

His tone was clipped as the words left his lips. "And some of the guards left their posts at the time, too." 

I straightened up, ignoring the pain that shot out of my side. "What? Who the hell gave them the order to leave their posts. You better be joking." I said, already feeling the trepidation snake it's way up my spine before bursting out at my back.
