I stood up immediately and pretended like any of what was happening bothered me one bit. Keeping my head down, I picked up Daniel from the chair and flashed an uneasy smile at them. 

"I think this is the time for me to go." I said, starting towards the door but Ethan who looked like what I had just said brought him great distress and shook his head vehemently. 

"Of course not. Please don't go away. Please stay. This will be resolved and everything will go back to normal soon."
