I doubt that I'd ever felt this relieved my entire life. Knowing that Kendrick was my son's father and that he accepted us gave me a feeling of relief that I hadn't felt in a very long time. He'd even decided to throw a party celebrating my safe return and it was nothing short of unexpected. I couldn't repress the face-splitting grin.
