A couple kilometers away from the cabin, Kendrick was already on the move. He was standing in the middle of the forest road, not shivering even as the freezing wind blew through his hair. His guards and trackers all around him found it hard to act like he did, because it was so hard to maintain their calmness with the chill that had fallen this evening.
