It was Ace. I didn't know why but seeing him brought me some relief. He stepped into view and when he saw Uther, his face lit. Uther went over why he'd come here immediately, and Ace couldn't stop smiling with admiration, and turned to say.

I forced out another smile amid the disgust. If Ace had the man in this much awe, how the hell was I supposed to convince him that the man was the traitor.
