"Follow me." He said before he turned and began walking back again. Another ripple of fear careened down my spine. Was he leading me towards the field again so I could run another five laps? It was almost as if he was doing his best to see me break.
Thankfully, he didn't stop when we got to the field. Instead, we got in and started heading towards the small lake at the end of it. The water was dark and the surface rippled as the chill in the air smoothed over it.
