I’m still very very stunned. Beyond confused as to why Lily would try to kill herself, but I try my hardest to remain quiet because it’s not in my place to ask questions. Not once in all the weeks that I’ve worked with her did she give me any indication that she didn’t want to live. It just makes no sense.

When she then asks me to stay behind without any more explanation to her family, I see the resistance in both Trevor’s parent’s eyes and his, and I think Lily does too, because she speaks to everyone again.
