Sireen’s POV
I pull out a printed piece of paper from my bag that I didn’t put there, and as I read the bold letters pasted across it, a sharp painful lump forms in my throat, making it difficult to swallow or even breathe through.
It reads, ‘NOTHING CAN FIX THE MONSTER THAT YOU ARE.’
I stare blankly at the paper for what must be minutes, because I do not notice when I’m not alone for the second time today as someone taps me on my shoulder from behind.
