Trevor asked me to take Lily’s assembled wheelchair with me, and when I look past his shoulder to where the chair is standing, I don’t know if I can walk down there and back out without doing something I’m already struggling not to do.

I’m sure he sees the battle on my face because he sighs and walks to where the chair is, and he pushes it to the door where I’m still standing.
