At the break of dawn they departed from the monastery, Bernard resigned as the Head Priest of the Church so he could focus on raising Accadia, he didn't know where they would go, and he just wanted to leave the place. It's because a few months ago there has been an increase in Vampire occurrence in the city. It's as if they are looking for something or someone...

Bernard boarded a coaster van, he modified the External body of the Van, he replicated the material used in the container to conceal Accadia Scent, the van's interior house a complete set of housing needs, like a sofa, portable toilet, small kitchen, a bunk bed, and a small TV for entertainment, they also brought all the books. Temporarily these will be their home while they travel to find a place to resettle.

Accadia now is 2 years old, aside from raw strength, Accadia also develop a Psychokinetic ability, she was playing a ball inside the coaster van when suddenly they hit a bump on the road, the ball bounce at the window and almost hit the van glass window, but Accadia reach out her hand as if she can reach the ball, her eyes were close, she was expecting a crash sound but she never heard in.

She opened her eyes and saw the ball just floating near the window, Bernard stopped the van and went back to the van just as he was about to ask Accadia if she was okay, he saw the ball floating while Accadia's hands were up and seemed like playing with the balls. Bernard wasn't helped but stepped back and shocked, and he thought of this event and realized that Accadia's ability is developing fast.

He needs to find a place to settle and teach Accadia to control her power, Bernard was very worried that if he can handle the quick development of this child and eventually run amok with her power, this could cause tragic accidents and the Coven might discover her whereabouts.

"Accadia did you do that?" he asked Accadia, she just looked at him, she smiled, and nodded.

Bernard hugged Accadia worriedly, "Ok now darling, you must not do that again while we're out, okay?" Accadia loses her smile and nods.

After a year and a few months and a thousand-mile trip, Bernard found a perfect place for them in the Lakewood City rural area, at the center of the woods Bernard bought a house, it's a two-floor shack nicely wooden built with a good and elegant interior, the house is already fully furnished. This will be their home, Bernard plans to home school Accadia. He thought that it would not be good if Accadia displayed her power in front of normal kids, although she does not show any signs of hunger with blood and she had no fangs, other kids or rather humans might not understand her and do some harm to her.

Years have passed, Accadia is now 15 years old, and started to ask questions and became curious about why is not allowed to go out and attend a school like other kids she saw. She knew that she is different from other kids and had abilities, while other kids her age don't have, but her uncle never explains to her why she is like that.

He's always strict when he goes out and never lets her out after dark. She wanted a normal life like the other kids she saw in the neighborhood.

"Uncle it will be my 16th birthday next month, can I ask for something else for my gift this year?" She asked her Uncle Bernard during their dinner, her uncle looked at her confused but replied, "Of course Accadia, darling anything for you my sweet little niece." Accadia's eyes lit up and she smiled.

"Is that a promise uncle?" she reassures her uncle, "Why are you acting so weird darling, ok... ok... that's a promise, now tell me what do you want?" Accadia clapped her hand forgetting her strength, and she created a sound wave that made the table shake. "Sorry uncle, I forget to control my strength", she said, she was so happy because she knew when her Uncle makes a promise, he will never break whatever happens.

"Uncle you told me many times that my parents died in an accident, but we have never… I mean, when I came to understand things that you told me not once we visited their grave, I wish uncle for this year to visit their grave and pay my respect to them," with tears in her eyes she asked her uncle for her wish.

Bernard stared for so long that made Accadia confused, it was just a simple request, but she knew that she had limitations when they got out, especially when doing long travels. But her uncle's reaction was so weird she wanted to ask again but her uncle stopped her and replied, "I know this means a lot to you, but this is not the right time to visit them."

She wanted to complain but for the second time Bernard stopped her, "But... but... let me finish. I promise to you when you complete all your training and lessons when you reach 17 on your 18 birthday, I will take you to THAT place and I will tell you everything that's a promise."

Accadia's eyes lit up, she holds her uncle's hand and said, "I can settle for that uncle, I know you only want to protect me, however since you can't fulfill my wish this year, I wanted to ask something else, I want to experience the actual school uncle and meet friends, I promise I will not show my powers to them, I'll suppress my strength and I'll be a good girl. I will even agree if you give me additional instructions and rules." Looking at Accadia's eyes Bernard couldn't say no.

"Ahhh... I guess you deserve that Accadia, ok I agree that you go to school at Lakewood University since I work there also I can look you up, but remember to suppress your abilities don't go overboard young lady, I'm watching you!" Accadia hugged her Uncle and kissed him on the cheek.

"You're the best!" Accadia happily said to him and hugged him.

He's spoiling her too much, Bernard thought, but he smiled, he's happy whenever Accadia's happy, she reminds him so much of her sister Amanda.

True to his promise, Bernard pulled some strings so Accadia can enter the University even in the middle of the school year. It's November now and she'll be 16 in December.

Accadia woke up early that morning, she's preparing her things, she was so excited and she only had 3 hours of sleep but she's full of energy this morning. Bernard saw her humming a song and her smile from ear to ear he couldn't stop but shake his head and just smile. He thought all will be fine because he trusted her. They went out and headed to the University for her actual first day at School since her childhood.

At the car, Bernard reminded her of the rules, "Accadia, you must not show any ability at school, act like a normal kid, remember to control your temper. Kids at school can be mean and provocative just keep your cool okay? You are allowed to have friends but be careful, do not share your secrets with them, they might not understand you."

Accadia nodded and said, "You worry too much Uncle, I can handle myself."

Bernard handed her a bracelet, "Wear it at all times Accadia, it will keep you safe."

Accadia took the bracelet, she wears it show's it to her Uncle, "Are you satisfied now uncle? I'll be safe. I know the rules, it's for my own good, so I made sure I remember and follow it well." She shows him a book listed there is her do's and don't.

"Oh, I almost forgot! Strictly no talking to BOYS, okay? Promise me that, and I will not bug you inside the University."

Accadia looked at her uncle, "Uncle it's my first day, and you're already talking about boys, are you jealous that I might divert my attention to them, and forget about you, my beloved uncle?" She toyed with her uncle.

"Seriously Accadia, they are just destruction and might get you into trouble. Listen to me, soon you'll know why, but for now just do as I say, okay? Remember my promise to you, when that day comes, you'll understand everything."

Accadia looked at her uncle confused at what he just said, but he just brushed it off at the back of her head, she was too excited. She can already see the University gate.

Bernard looked at her and shook his head and said, "We're near the university, get ready, I'll accompany you at the Dean's office since we still need to get your class schedule, you'll be in 11th grade, but do you think you can handle that?" Bernard inquires.

"You're looking at your ace student Uncle, I'll ace that too, just watch me!" She proudly said that.

"You are my only student Accadia." Bernard smiles with a sarcastic look on his face.

Accadia just pouted and murmured, "You'll see!" Accadia is indeed very bright, her ability to adapt and to learn far more advanced than a regular human, if it weren't for her age she can be admitted directly to college still aced it.

After they parked Accadia and Bernard got out of the car.

Accadia's eyes widened in astonishment, "It's so big, and so many people," she giggled, "I'm gonna love it here, hahaha," she excitedly blurted those words.

Bernard reminded her, "Accadia, may I remind you of the rules? Let's go inside so we can have you arranged." Bernard signaled with his head, Accadia followed him with a large smile written on her face.
