At the abandoned building, an intense battle was in progress. Belden fire and ice spear were in-effective to Amanda's mage robe, the enchantment made to the robe negates any elemental attacks from Belden, Amanda also holds a bow and blessed arrow, Amanda looks like a Mage archer angel when she shoots an arrow it inflicted a wound to the vampire which is hard to heal when the arrow hits a vampire skin, it burned them and it continues burning for a while leaving them deep wounds, but when an arrow hits the heart the Vampire instantly dies.

Devon wields a long sword with his strength and speed he decapitated many vampire minions, and cut Halberg's right hand, and knelt on the side. Matthews summoned beast attack Devon, the Devil Bear, and Devilish Wolf both charged at him.

The Devil Bear slam on his armor, Devon flew on and hit the wall of the building, while the devilish wolf strikes his claw on his body, Devon quickly reacted and twist his body but his arm was hit, his arm and shoulder guard flew off leaving chain-mail and his black shirt to protect his body, Devon swing his sword but his hand was caught by the Devil bear and slammed him on the ground so strong that he almost lost is consciousness, blood came out of his mouth, he was hurt and barely able to stand, he saw the Devilish Wolf fangs getting near his unguarded arm, the Devilish wolf fangs drilled at his arm and tore his flesh.

"Ahhrrggg!" Devon cried at the thought of his lungs.

"Grrrrr! Awooo" growled and cried loudly claiming his victory after he tore out the flesh of Devon, the devilish wolf getting ready again to attack.

Suddenly an arrow came at the back of the Devilish wolf but the wolf was quick on his reflexes and Ridge the enchanted arrow, but the arrow went straight and hit the Head of the Devil bear, the Devil bear burned and vanished in an instant.

Matthew appearance became different he grew horns and wings he is also a shape shifter, he directly attacks Amanda, Amanda releases arrow after arrow aiming at Matthew but he dodges it, right when Matthew can reach Amanda he was hit at his chin with a foot, it's Devon with his diminishing strength, Matthew only felt slight pain but stops, on his attack.

Matthew called out for his Devilish Wolf and Belden "It's over now Devon, just give us your daughter this will be quick, you have no more strength left, your turned wife already fired out all her arrows, you have nowhere to run, just give up!"

"You're wrong we still have one trick left." Amanda stepped on the floor where a secret button was placed and once again the three were trapped in a cage.

"Huh... Fell for the same trap, you really are dumb, hahaha, ahhhhh! Argh!" Devon laughs out but can still feel the pain from his now decapitated arm.

"Let's go, let's leave this place, come on Devon, we must go far away from here." Amanda assisted Devon and got the carrying basket then they jumped up to the ground floor and jumped off the window, luckily there were few Vampire minions outside, they ran fast trying to get away from the abandoned building.

At the basement, Halberg with his one hand lifted the cage and freed Matthew and Belden. The Devilish wolf was already gone.

"You imbecile! There are just two of them, they are already wounded and yet you let them get away! Hurry follow them, kill them and get the child they can't go far Devon is severely wounded his Turned Mate will not be a problem anymore! GOOO!" Mathews shouted.

Halberg, Belden and the remaining Vampire minions acted quickly and went in the direction where the couple went. While Matthew stayed, he suspected something wrong on the building and scanned it. He sniffed and roamed at the basement, when he didn't find a scent he looked at the direct everybody and followed them.

"I will Kill you both in a most painful way and get your child, will suffer as payment for the death of my bear..... Ahhhhhhhhh!

At the Building basement, everything was silent, like nothing happened, except for all the debris loitering all over the basement, there is not a soul left on the basement except for Bernard and Accadia who just woke up and looked at Bernard seemingly confused.

Bernard opened the sealed hatch from inside, and took a peek, when he saw that the place was already abandoned he quickly opened the hatch, took the container and ran towards the door and out the Building.

Bernard at that moment was only focused on getting away from that place to reach his place.

Bernard reached his place, inside the Church Monastery. He went straight to the basement, shut the basement door and placed the container on the working table at the wall. It's his laboratory, Bernard sat at the couch next to the door, he calm himself at think of what just happened a while ago, until he realized that his niece Accadia is still inside the container, although its well ventilated and Accadia can technically breath there l, it is still not right to leave her niece inside a box.

He quickly stood up and walked up to the container and opened it, there he saw the cutest baby ever live. Accadia has beautiful almond shaped eyes, with a smooth skin, she was like a normal human baby.

"Look at you darling, so innocent and so pure, but yet they are fighting to get you, what are you really? But anyhow I promise my sister I will take care and love you, and that shall I do." Bernard told himself.

But at that moment he stared blankly, he just realized he had no Kids and didn't know how to raise a child, especially a vampire born child that gave him a headache. But he looked at Accadia, he saw a an innocent child who didn't know how unfortunate she was born as a vampire and destined to do horrible things, but Bernard is optimistic as long as I can raise her well, maybe she can be of help to human kind, with her unknown ability power I can turn her into the side of the human.

Bernard decides on that night that he will teach good things to this child and protect her from the deception of the world. He knows that the child will inherit the Goodness of his parents. He vowed to tell her the truth when the time comes.

He lifted Accadia, Accadia smiled at him as if she knew he was her Uncle, Bernards' heart melted and hugged Accadia, tears started falling on his cheeks, Accadia was his last remnant of his beloved sister. He thought they would be together until the day they die, but God has a different plan.

"You are Van Helsing my niece, I will teach good things and we will be partners from now on, but first, what do you eat, I forgot to ask Amanda what to do." While Accadia was in his arms, he thought aloud all the things he needed to raise her niece like will she go to school, how will he hide his scent and what kind of scent he will hide, he didn't know anything, he looked at the Container and saw piece of paper right where he lifted his niece.

The letter is from his Sister, her sister document all the things he needs to raise Accadia, apparently for the last two months they have observed Accadia's diet and habits, surprisingly it does not differ from a normal baby, the only problem he has was the scent, that's when he got the idea by looking at the container material. This will be the 1st day Bernard became a parent.

As the day goes by baby Accadia only stayed at the basement, Bernard had a light made to mimic sun radiation but in small scale, as her sister stated Accadia is not affected by the Sun in fact it rejuvenates her, she can go a week without feeding as long as she was bathed at the Sun rays for 3 hours straight. During their travels escaping the coven they are deprived of food to eat and only uses serum, so Amanda couldn't feed her milk to Accadia as she was afraid it might be bad for her child, there they found out that the sun rays sustained Accadia's lack of milk to drink.

"Happy birthday Accadia!" Greeting Bernard, he had a small celebration in the basement, he prepared cakes and pasta for her, she ate them after her favorite. Accadia was happy but completely unaware that there is… a world above her.

Bernard played with Accadia for half day on her birthday, he already thought Accadia how to read and write, surprisingly Accadia was a bright girl, this was a surprise to Bernard when he saw Accadia walk at her 6 months old, then she started to get curious of the things surround her at the age of 7 month old, that's when he decided to teach Accadia how to read and write.

During this usual cuddle, Accadia accidentally pushed Bernards, he flew meters away in an instant, and to his surprise Accadia was so strong. Accadia was just innocently smiling and laughing like it was nothing.

This was the day he knew they needed to go and find a safer place for them away from the city.
