Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Wilford’s POV

This is not something I want! I'm not interested in conversing with strangers! But I have to this time!

Why?

Because my bag has vanished!

Someone may have taken my bag!

Well, I'm not looking for the costly items that can be discovered within; it just so happens that something valuable is in my bag.

My notebook.

But don't make the mistake of assuming I prefer feminine things.

Last year, my teacher made it a necessity for me to keep a journal. In order to pass, I must follow her instructions.

Inside that journal, I've written everything. Nobody should have read all of my secrets because I wrote them down. However, there is still a guarantee that the journal will stay unreadable. It features a unique lock, which also functions as the pendant for my necklace.

Cliry’s POV

I'm still puzzled as to why Wilford and my boyfriend were photographed together. What is the origin of their relationship?

Oh shoot! I was pre-occupied by a lot of things and now it is time to go to school. And so I went downstairs to eat my breakfast first.

My cousins were all looking forward to seeing me.

They saw that I appeared to be a little sleepy, but I simply excused myself. They also said that they would send me to school again, and so I just let them do what they want. After all, I can not win over them.

We were taken aback as we arrived at the front gate and were welcomed by the screams of my schoolmates.

We had no idea they were yelling because of my attractive cousins. They believe that each of my cousins is a model.

I simply did a face-palm and shook my head.

When I walked into our classroom, one of my female classmates dashed over to me.

"Cliry! You haven't told us anything about those guys you were with! What are their names? Are they your good buddies?" she asked. She now appears to be interested in my personal life.

"My cousins," I shortly replied before taking my seat.

"I'd like to meet one of them! Are you able to help me?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes. Seriously?

"They're all married," I simply lied in order to end our conversation. I have no desire to converse with her.

She eventually went out in front of me.

Our teacher arrived just a few minutes later. Wilford came next. He sat in the same seat he occupied yesterday.

My attention was now drawn to my teacher.

Someone poked me while I was busy taking notes.

And it's Wilford. He inquired, "Where's my bag?"

My brow furrowed.

I said, "It is not with me." Come on, Cliry, you're starting to sound like a liar.

"I have a feeling it's with you. It's only that you're my sole seatmate."

"And what do you think I'm going to do with your bag?!?!? Does it matter?!"

"Return it to me!!"

"Cease!!!! Together, you two! Get out of my class!" says the teacher.

And it was at that point that we realized we were already disrupting our lesson. I rose up quickly and apologized to my teacher.

Then I stepped out of the room, as instructed by my teacher.

Wilford was just behind me.

"It's entirely your fault!" I yelled at him, but he was uninterested in responding.

He grabbed my hand and dragged me, much to my amazement.

I have a lot of things I want to say, but I'm unable to do so.

I want to strike him, squeeze him, but I can't seem to get my hand out of his clutches.

He took me up to the rooftop. We're the only students in this place.

"Now, can you tell me where my bag is?"

Eventually, he let go of my hand.

"I'm not sure." I'm not going to admit that I get his bag.

He takes a step closer to me.

I'm creeping backwards as he gets closer, till I'm leaning against the wall.

By analyzing our current distance, I estimated that we are around seven inches apart.

"Until when, Cliry, are you going to deny?"

I shut my eyes.

Why am I suddenly frightened by his presence?

"Do you want me to kiss you if you don't answer?"

"Wait... W-w-what?!?"

"Would you like me to kiss you?"

Because of what he stated, my eyes quickly narrowed.

"Perv! Why would I kiss a murderer? " I screamed and then kicked him in the stomach.

He moved away from me and then kneeled, as if he was having trouble breathing.

I became nervous and felt bad about what I had done. I dashed over to him.

"Do you feel you're okay?" I ask, but he remains silent and appears to be twisting in pain.

I took his hand and led him to the open seat.

I handed him some water.

I double-checked that he would drink it by opening the bottle, opening his mouth, and then pouring the water into it.

He stared me down with a deadly glare.

"What? I'm only attempting to help you. You appear to be dying!" I replied fiercely.

After he emptied the drinking water, I sat beside him. I believe he is now in decent shape.

"Wilford, what is your relationship with my boyfriend? Why are you in a photo with him?" I can't help but ask him about what I saw.

"You keep claiming you don't have my bag. However, the object you see is most likely contained within it. "

He said that in a serious tone and then walked away from me.

He has a point, and I've just made myself look stupid.
