Chapter 2 The Luna

Chapter 2 The Luna

"What is going on?" she asked the driver who seemed to be as confused as she is.

"It seems like the car is out." He answered.

"What do you mean ..... you know what I don't want to hear it, call another car to come to pick me up," she said.

"Yes ma'am." The driver said dialing another driver to bring a car to meet them.

"He'll be here in twenty minutes ma'am." He informed her and she frowned. There was no way she was going to meet up on time.

"I can't wait for her for fifteen minutes!" she shrieked.

"There is a mechanic close by, I'm sure he can be working on it before the other driver gets here and it would be safe to get the car there since a lot of people are beginning to stare." He said and she nodded.

They managed to drive till they got to the mechanic shop, the driver came down and she followed suit.

The air was hotter and taking off her coat was the best thing she could do, folding it in her arms she walked further into the shop with her driver in front. The place was old and smelled like grease, although things were neatly arranged she was a bit irritated by the greasy tools on the floor.

"Al, meet my boss, Miss Bella." The driver introduced walking side by side with a who had just finished wiping his hands off a dirty handkerchief. He extended her hands for her to shake but she only raised her brow at him and stared at his hands in disgust.

"Right, I'm sorry ma'am." Al apologized tucking his hands in his overalls. Bella's phone began to ring and she took the opportunity to leave the men and walked outside.

"El, where are you?" her mother's sweet voice asked.

"Mum, there was some sort of delay. My car suddenly went off and I'm currently stuck in the dirty streets of belvet suburbs while I await another car to come to pick me up," she explained to her mother.

"Oh dear, that is terrible. Are you alright?" her mother asked concerned about her daughter's well-being.

"Yes ma, I am fine. Although I'm trying not to throw up my gut here," she admitted her eyes ravaging the streets, her gaze stopped at the black bike that was heading towards her.

"Where exactly are you?" her mother asked again.

"In some guy name Al workshop." She answered watching the bike stop several feet away from her, rising some speckle of dust in the air which made her swat her hands in front of her face to stop the cough that was building up in her throat.

"Stay safe and don't go too far away from the driver." Her mother said cautiously which made her roll her eyes.

"I can take care of myself mother." She assured her mother still swatting her free hands in front of her face. She glared at the guy who had turned off the engine and parked the bike, he had taken off his helmet releasing the black curly head from its cage.

"Let me know when the driver gets there and text your dad that you wi....."

"Geez mum, I am not a kid anymore. I have everything under control okay, I will be fine." She answered her eyes following the movement he made as he carried the brown box strapped to the back of his bike. His towering frame walked past her without paying any form of acknowledgment, he dropped the box several feet away from her which made a loud noise that startled her.

"What was that?" her mother's panicked voice asked through the phone. Bella who was now glaring at the guy who didn't seem it was appropriate to apologize for being rude.

"Just some basic ass hole who thinks he can do the fuck he wants." She hissed loud enough for him to hear.

"El, language. You should be really careful....." but she cuts her mother off.

"You know what mum, I'll see you later. Love you." She said and ended the call.

The man with the curly hair seemed to ignore her comment and it only made her agitated the more.

"Hey." She called out to him fearlessly but he ignored her sorting out the materials in the box.

"Hey, dimwit. I'm talking to you." She repeated walking to him taping him so he could face her. He turned around, he was way taller than her, so tall that he had to look down just so he could meet her glaring eyes. His brown eyes pierced into hers, they showed no form of anger only irritation.

"How can I help you princess?" he asked smugly.

"Don't fucking call me that. Are you going to be barbaric and not apologize for what you did?" she confronted him folding her arms across her chest sending him the vilest look.

"Hot-headed and pesty, not a good trait to be found in a woman." He said not in the bit disturbed by her outlook.

"Did you just fucking call me Pesty?" she was boiling in anger.

"Geez, sorry okay. Didn't mean to get you offended, princess." He said chuckling at her.

"No one laughs at me or calls me names. No living soul." She sneered and he raised his hands up in surrender.

"I'm sorry your highness. Didn't mean to break that record." He said and turned away from her focusing on his job.

Now he was ignoring her. She was livid.

"What is going on here?" Al and the driver came outside to see the commotion. "Oh, Mike, you're here. I knew I heard the sound of your bike." He said. So the brute name was mike, she thought.

"Ma'am, what is wrong?" the driver asked Bella who was glaring daggers at mike's head.

"This fucking idiot thinks it's okay to act however he likes." She said.

"Geez would you fucking drop it. He apolo...."

"That doesn't count." She fired back

"Just because you're some elite kid doesn't mean you can expect people to treat you nicely," Mike said. And she chuckled painfully

"In case you don't know, I am not just some any elite, I am Bella Anderson."
