"Come in" Her voice sounded more like a whisper

I pushed the door open only to find her laying on the bed and she tried to fit up upon me.

"But didn't I hear her pacing a few minutes ago" I thought

"It's time for dinner," I said

"I can't come down for dinner, I am feeling really tired right now and I need to sleep and have a good night's rest," She said but it was obvious that she was lying.

"I heard her pacing in this room for crying out loud. What the hell is she telling me now" I thought as I furrowed my eyebrows...
