Aria's POV

Life at Shadow Peak settled into something that almost felt normal over the next two weeks.

The gates were repaired. The walls reinforced. The wounded were healing. We'd even started training new warriors to replace the ones we'd lost.

Drogo's injuries healed slower than he wanted to admit. He kept pushing himself too hard and Rosa kept threatening to tie him to a bed if he didn't rest properly.

"You're not invincible," she told him after catching him sparring with Cole. "Stop acting like you are."
