The education council meeting about security happened three days later.

All the contributing Alphas attended plus representatives from packs with enrolled students. The room felt crowded and tense.

Kieran presented his proposal for rotating security details. "Each pack provides warriors for one month rotations. Shadow Peak coordinates but doesn't monopolize control. Everyone shares responsibility for protecting students."

"That's a lot of warriors cycling through," one representative objected. "Different people, different protocols. Seems inefficient."

"It's democratic," Kieran countered. "No single pack gains too much presence or influence. And it ensures everyone has stake in maintaining security."
