Aria's POV

The baby arrived three weeks early.

I'd been having mild contractions all morning but ignored them. Thought they were just the practice contractions Rosa had warned me about.

By mid-afternoon, they were too intense to ignore.

Drogo found me doubled over in our quarters. "We need to get you to Rosa. Now."

"It's too early. The baby isn't due for another three weeks."

"Babies don't follow schedules. Come on."

Rosa took one look at me and started preparing the birthing room. "You're definitely in labor. How far apart are the contractions?"
