He laid on the bed but wasn't sleeping, he was deep in thought about his father.
The fact that he's in a coma worries him a lot. Even if he's gonna have a child and a contract wife, he needs to witness it with good health.
But it isn't gonna be the way he wished, if only he had the grace to live till then… that might be better.
There should be alternatives to rescuing him from the pit of hell. The doctor can't just conclude that way, leaving his father to struggle in hell.
He hissed out loud facing the other side of the bed. "I need to go see that fucking doctor. He needs to do something about this or I'll bring out an idea myself."
He got up from the bed getting his clothes on. He was about to leave for the bathroom when an idea struck his mind.
His female servant… his slave.
"Olivia…" he dashed out of the room screaming her name.
She bumped out of her room on hearing his voice. "You called me."
"Is that how you answer your master? When will you ever learn… you bitch." He drew her hand forcefully towards the wall.
Her heart began pounding heavily again. "Get off me…" she spoke within her, not trying to let him hear her.
He let go of her taking two steps backwards. Olivia kept staring at the towel he had on, wondering why he dashed out to meet her still on towel wrapping around his waist.
"I'm leaving for the hospital to see my parents, so you go in and get ready… you'll leave with me." He ordered her but in a calm voice.
She stretched her lips. "But your parents never requested you to set their eyes on me."
"You shouldn't dare question my order again Olivia, or I'll pop out your eyes." He snapped. "I don't care if they asked for you or not, you were sold to me and not to them… so you go in there and do as I've ordered you."
She nodded slightly. She thought of pleading to go see her parents and not how they're fairing, especially her mother.
Later on, she turned against the thought and left for her room. "He might do the worst to me if I make such a request, this man is more deadly than a snake… I wonder what came over him that he wants me to leave with him." She murmured while pulling off her clothes.
She freshened up immediately and had one of the clothes he had gotten for her.
While standing before the mirror, she admired how fitted the dress seemed to be on her. She isn't with her make up kit, though she looked beautiful without having any on.
Huh! Why is she worried when she's a slave to him? Is he ready to admire her or let someone do that?
She left the room immediately to his door post. "I'm not going in there again, I'll wait for him in the sitting room." She thought and went downstairs.
Lucien got dressed and picked up his car key and cell phone heading out of the room. He moved to Olivia's room, pushed it open but couldn't find her.
"She must have left downstairs…" he thought and left the room too.
Their eyes met and she bent her head low.
"You didn't let me know when you were done. Olivia, you're testing my patience." He snapped.
Olivia didn't say a word to him, she only stared at the ground.
"Master… the driver is here already." Nolan announced leaving the dining table.
He nodded. "Make sure you prepare dinner before I'm back. Don't mind cleaning up my room, Olivia will do it herself."
She sighed on hearing that, why should it be her? Must she be the one to do that?
"You can clean up his room and I'll do other things once we're back." Olivia referred to Nolan.
He slapped her lips. "I am your master and I tell you what to do."
She nodded and blinked, letting the tears drop. Immediately, she wiped it off so no one would notice it
"Now, move to the car…" he ordered her. She panicked and left without taking a break.
He left the car with her.
"Good afternoon sir…" the driver greeted trying to let the door open.
He stopped him after responding to his greeting. "You don't need to." He opened the door himself.
"Move in Olivia." She stepped into the car immediately while the driver stared at them.
He wondered who Olivia was and that he had to open the door for her instead of her doing that.
"What are you still waiting to drive off?" He scolded the driver who was in deep thought.
"I'm sorry sir." He ignited the engine and they drove off.

Lucien sat opposite the doctor, while Olivia stood in the corridor waiting for him.
"There should be another alternative doctor, you can't just tell me that I'll lose my father any moment from now." He referred to him.
The doctor dropped the pen he had in his palm, "I told you nothing but the truth. It's only grace that can save someone from such a condition."
"Look, I'm ready to pay any amount of money just to make sure my father is back to good health. Just let me know the amount it will cost." He stated.
The doctor noticed how serious he is, but there's no other option left for him.
"If it's all about money, then I wouldn't hesitate to let you know. All you need is to have that faith and hope he will be fine again." He comforted him.
Lucien wasn't okay with that assurance, but he managed to give a nod to him.
"I'll have to go see them." He uttered and got on his feet.
He left the office to meet Olivia still standing leaning against the wall.
"Let's go see my parents." He said to her, She followed him immediately.
They stepped into the ward where his father was laid and his mother seated on the chair beside him.
"Mum…" he gave her a warm hug. She smiled at him.
"How have you been doing son?" She inquired holding his palms.
He returned the smile. "I'm okay.. and how's dad?"
"You can see him laid down." She replied. Her eyes caught a beautiful lady standing some miles away from them.
She loved her dress and her mode of dressing. "Who's that standing over there, Lucien? Did you come with her huh?"
Lucien looked backwards to see Olivia standing at a side watching them. He nodded. "Yes, I came with her."
She smiled moving towards Olivia.
"Good afternoon ma'am…" She greeted her.
She caressed her skin. "You look so beautiful, I don't need to be told that you're good."
Olivia hated that last sentence, if she had known the hell she's passing through in her son's hand… she wouldn't say that.
But in spite of that, she had pitied the woman… Lucien's father is in a very critical condition.
"You're gonna be my daughter in-law very soon?" She asked her.
Olivia didn't know what to give as an answer, she focused her gaze on Lucien.
"Yes…. I'm gonna be your daughter in-law." She didn't know when that sentence popped out of her mouth.
She regretted saying that… It's a damn mistake.
"Wow! I'm so happy for you son. You will be getting married to one of the angels that will give me a grandchild. You know your dad needs that most." She moved closer to him.
Lucien didn't know how to say the truth again, since Olivia had already exclaimed that she's gonna be her daughter in-law soon.
"Oh yeah! I'm gonna give you two grandchildren soon." He forced the sentence out of his throat.
She got seated. "Come sit with me over here." She referred to Olivia who walked to her without sparing him a glance.
"Let's talk about some other things mum." He suggested.
He doesn't wish to talk about Olivia or his marriage, because he isn't gonna make that mistake.
He had made up his mind not to legally keep a wife in his home. All he wants is a baby mama.
It will be a contract marriage if she gets pregnant for him.
Olivia kept staring at his father who laid lifelessly on the bed. She felt so sorry for meeting him in such a condition.
"Lucien has such a thing to tackle with, and he went ahead to take me with him." She thought within herself.
She got on her feet after some minutes. "I need to straighten my leg." She uttered to their hearing.
Lucien snapped her face, he wouldn't try acting rude to her in the presence of his mother… to avoid spoiling her good mood.
"Make sure you stay behind… we will be leaving soon." He referred to her.
She acceded and left the ward. She observed the reason he wasn't harsh to her this time. That's because of his mother, nothing else.
As she was strolling down the corridor, she surpassed about seven other wards before she stumbled into the doorpost where a patient was in need of help.
Immediately, she stumped into the room to get her mother laid on the bed.
"Mum…" she ran towards her in tears.
